I wasn’t 100% happy with my
mock-ups, however I did think that my concept was very strong and something
that would benefit the course. I feel that my ability get across what I was
imagining was hard because the mock-ups was as true to life as they could be. I
do think both walls where relevant to the surroundings as they bring something
new the walls with lots of ability to create new inspiration. I think the
amount of time I had reflected well as I tried to refine my concept rather than
refining my mock-ups. This may be the reason why I didn’t win the pitch.
Although the feedback I received was that the designs where a little too out
there.
What could we improve on?
In terms of improvement based upon the feedback I was given today form
Peter & Paul they said that the design may have been very effective but the
ability to create it would be difficult due to it needing to be outsourced as
it is not something that could be achieved in college.
I think that my
overall mock-ups could have been more effective, but this would have been
applicable if I had a lot more time. Maybe I might create a mini mock-up of the
design for submission if I have time. Another simple addition which I think
could have helped to improve our work was just more time. I had the chance to
re-do the project I would consider producing something more light-hearted maybe
something that would be interactive that everyone can input like I found from
much of my research.
