Evaluation

I am extremely pleased with the outcome for this project. I feel that a strong & defined concept helped me create a refined solution to the packaging & transfer this across all levels. I do feel this is one of my stronger briefs this year.

What could we improve on?
I feel that I could have improved the pattern by screen-printing it vivid lime green inside the packaging, as this would have given it more ability to shine & be a focal point of the piece.
I feel the scent sticks are a downfall to the brief overall as these where not a last minute thought but a last minute change due to the initial design not fitting with the rest of the aesthetic and therefore this would be something I would change if I was able to rectify the brief.
I feel the campaign was a little rushed compared to the rest of the brief. This is because I didn’t expect it to take me as long as I thought. This was a new process to me and therefore my abilities wasn’t 100%. This led to the caption at the bottom being rushed and therefore maybe brings the whole campaign down, but the words are very relevant to the brand as a whole & therefore found it was necessary to keep it within the layout.

What did I learn?
Applying little adjustments can enhance the brief fully. Thinking about the bottle as a whole and not just the label really enhanced my outcome and I believe it really makes my brief stand out.
I learnt the basics of creating a paper sculpture, I watched many tutorials on how to make paper flowers and then sat for hours to prefect them to create an installation for the poster.
